What a wonderful week we have had!

Afternoon activities are now in place...in Cookery this week the children were shown how to make Energy Balls (using chopped dates, shredded coconut, cinnamon and grated carrot). The preparation of the ingredients was not only fun for the children, but the process

also supported the development of their manipulative skills ; )

On Tuesday the children really enjoyed reading Goldilocks and the Three Bears with the teachers. Afterwards they were able to recall parts of the story when asked. The children did especially well acting out the story, each with their own role (we even had a Stage Manager!).

In Art the children have started making sunflowers, based on Van Gogh's Sunflower series. These will be exhibited throughout the term. Parents are more than welcome to come and have a look.

In Mandarin the children have been learning numbers one, two and three (yi, er, san).

Please remember to bring your child's wellies in on Monday, in preparation for our Muddy Puddle Walk taking place next week. Thank you to all of those who have sponsored this worthwhile event. We have already raised over £150! The Sponsorship Form is still on the board for those who wish to add their name, thank you so much ; )

Best Wishes,

The Queen's Park Team
