This week we've been talking about fire fighters. 

On Wednesday ​morning we had a visit from West Hampstead fire brigade. 

Some of the children tried on the fire helmet and then they had​ lots of practice using

the fire hose (to water the church plants!)

The firemen also reminded the children and their parents about the importance of having a smoke alarm in their house, giving us a demonstration of how it sounds, before inviting the children to climb on board the fire engine.
