Dear Parents,

Last week the children continued exploring the continents. The weekly topic was Antarctica! The children looked at the nature, animals and people who live there. Also, on Thursday afternoon, some children took part in an Ice and Water experiment, where they could feel the difference between cold, warm and hot.

Our story of the week was "Lost and found",  a story about a boy and a penguin who travel all the way back to the South Pole to discover that maybe home wasn't what the penguin was looking for after all!

On Thursday the 11th we had some special visitors: Grandparents! Many, many thanks to Roy's, Millie's and Dylan's grandmothers for your help on this special day!

On Friday, some of the children took part in art and craft activities.  They made beautiful penguins following the topic of the week and we went into the garden and did some penguin walking!

‘Thank you’ to Evan's parents for the lovely fruit cake they brought to school to celebrate Evan's birthday, who turned 3 last week.

Like every week, we continued with our language lessons. We sang and danced to some songs in Spanish with Miss Marta and learnt more numbers in Japanese with Miss Azusa!
