The topic of the week was 'The Life Cycle of a Sunflower.' The theme was complemented with a beautiful sunflower-making art activity. When we return from the half-term break on Monday 4th June, the children will be planting sunflower seeds in a pot and will be watching them grow during the remaining summer term.
On Friday, 18th May 2018 in the afternoon, the children enjoyed celebrating the Royal Wedding. After decorating the garden with Union Jack bunting, they had a choice of making sandwiches with cucumber, cream cheese, peppers, chicken or jam. The prepared sandwiches were served with apple or orange juice and they all had great fun along the way.
A big 'Thank You,'to Malorie, Ketzia's mum for bringing tadpoles to the nursery on Wednesday, 23rd May 2018. The children had a fantastic time watching mini tadpoles darting around in the water. Malorie wonderfully taught and explained to the children all about the 'Life Cycle of a Frog’ and answered their questions.
