We were delighted to have Grace's mum (Rachel, a doctor at St Mary Hospital) speaking to the children about her profession, what she does and the different "tools" she uses during procedures. Children had a wonderful time using and trying some of the medical equipment’s such as a stethoscope and bandages on each other.
Following on from this theme the children were given a lesson on the human body, with visual aids including a book and an interactive human body model.
Also, we were privileged to accept an invitation from Mother Christine of St Anne's & St Andrew's Church in her chapel. She talked briefly to the children about her profession. She showed the children her different coloured robes and her special anointing oils.
