It is great to see all the children new and old have settled very well at the nursery.
Last week, the children were busy learning about the Life Cycle of a Butterfly.
A big "Thank You," to Lisa Selway, Pendle's mum for contributing a "Caterpillar to Butterfly Educational Kit" to the nursery. The children are looking forward to watching caterpillars change into chrysalis and then transform into beautiful butterflies, and when ready releasing them outdoors.
On the 5th May in Japan it was'Children's Day.' It is set aside to respect children's personalities and to celebrate their happiness.
Here at Queens park, RMS the children also joined the celebration.
On Thursday 3rd May, they listened and watched Children Day Songs in Japanese. Then in the afternoon, some of the children made Koinobori Carp Kites to take home and they also made a Cherry Blossom Tree in class (as it is a signal for getting outdoors in Spring in Japan).
Wishing you a fantastic bank holiday weekend.
