Following on from our Muddy Puddle Walk in aid of Save the Children, the children have been learning (through role play) about Acceptance and being 'different'.
We have been amazed at some of the questions the children have been asking - so sensitive and caring : )
In Cookery, this week the children enjoyed making banana bread. "It smells so yummy!", one of the children commented when the banana bread was baking.
This week the children explored their sense of taste by trying (and identifying) sweet and sour food (pear and lemon juice). They all agreed that they preferred the sweet pear!
Many Happy Returns to Katie who turned 4 this week and to Everest who turned 3 this week.
Wishing you both a wonderful year ahead!
And finally, a gentle reminder to please arrive on time in the morning (by 9am). The doorbell being rung by latecomers disrupts the session for both the children and the teachers.
Thank you for your understanding : )
